The program will not let me login or make changes to my personal information.

The IRB Forum program uses cookies as part of the information transaction. If your browser security or privacy settings are set too high, you will be unable to register, login or update your settings. For IE 6, information can be found at Configuring Privacy Settings. For Netscape Communicator, look under the Help Index at the topic on Handling Cookies. An alternate explanation is that you did not scroll down and to the right to see the "next" or "update" button. If this is not selected, your changes will not be recorded.

My e-mail messages are being rejected, although I am a registered member.

The IRB Forum compares the e-mail address from which your message is sent with the address under shich you are registered. If they do not match, the message is automatically rejected. You need to make sure the two addresses match. Usually the problem is that your e-mail server adds information to the sending address that is not necessary for your receiving e-mail. You need to change the e-mail address in The IRB Forum to match your sending e-mail address. Your e-mail provider can help you determine the exact address to use. The alternative is to always post your message via the website.

The program does not accept my e-mail address so I can get my password, but I am receiving e-mail messages.

The e-mail address in The IRB Forum is probably an older address that is still being forwarded to your current address. Often, the older address has additional information (such as the e-mail server) beyond that of your organization or e-mail provider. Try your old e-mail addresses. Alternatively, register as a new subscriber and indicate that you are a current member. The IRB Forum Administrator will try to find and delete the old e-mail address at the time of approving your membership request.

I am receiving both single messages and digest form, but only want one.

The program has the option of a single user selecting both modes of e-mail delivery. You need to unselect the option you do not want to receive. Check the topic of changing your e-mail delivery options.
