Sarah Lawrence College is proud to announce a new Advanced Certificate Program in Applied Research Ethics.
As you well know, IRB and research compliance professionals are now being required to navigate an increasingly complex research arena. Emerging technologies and increased international research are challenging traditional applications of ethical and regulatory principles. Sarah Lawrence College has developed a new Certificate Program in Applied Research Ethics, specifically designed to provide professionals working in the field of human subject protection with career advancement skills that will help them address these challenges.
The Sarah Lawrence program is designed for working health professionals:
• classes are organized around a series of short, intensive, on-campus sessions that require minimal time off from work;
• students can begin the program in either January or June
• students can attend discrete modules without committing to the full program.
Details about the program are available on the web site http://www.sarahlawrence.edu/ARE.
Apply now to participate in the inaugural session, which will take place January 8–12, 2007. Join us and learn how to translate research into ethical practice with experts and policy makers in this exciting new field.
