For 36 years, PRIM&R has offered educational events where professionals gather to discover, discuss, and debate issues affecting the world of research ethics and oversight.
Always a tremendous learning and networking opportunity, this dynamic meeting serves those involved in every facet of the research arena.
The 2010 Advancing Ethical Research Conference, following 10 pre-conference programs on December 5, will bring together nearly 3,000 professionals from public and private institutions, the federal government, and industry.
Attendees will gain important insights, fresh strategies, and will develop essential skill-sets through a series of 13 concrete and stimulating panel presentations and discussions, as well as via their participation in more than 140 highly practical workshops and didactic sessions.
Those present will learn how to balance ethics and regulations; improve relationships among researchers institutional review boards/human research protection programs (IRBs/HRPPs), sponsors, and institutional officials; incorporate best practices; and deal with the daunting range of both late-breaking and longstanding challenges.
