 IRB Administrator -- Newton, MA

New England IRB, an independent Institutional Review Board near Boston, Massachusetts, has an immediate opening for a full-time IRB Administrator.

The IRB Administrator, reporting to the Lead Administrator, will ensure that submitted biomedical and social/behavioral research is in compliance with federal regulations by:

• Serving as an alternate member of the Board
• Assist with developing, revising and implementing policies and procedures.
. Processing, tracking and filing submissions to the IRB
• Writing meeting minutes
• Serving as IRB interface with subjects, investigators and sponsors

The IRB Administrator will work closely with other IRB Administrators, the IRB Chairs, the Lead Administrator and the Director of Operations, in a team-oriented environment. New England IRB is conveniently located in Newton, MA, near Route 95 (Route 128).

The qualified candidate will be self-motivated, and have extensive, analytical knowledge of FDA and OHRP regulations and guidance. Individuals with clinical trials experience, but not direct IRB experience, will be considered. Strong communication, organizational and writing skills are also necessary, as well as a high level of attentiveness to accuracy.

B.A. or B.S. required; CIP preferred
