Research Compliance Administrator for QA Program - Tampa, FL
The Division of Research Integrity & Compliance is seeking a Research Compliance Administrator whose primary purpose is to conduct random monitoring and for-cause audits of Institutional Review Board (IRB) approved studies for compliance with federal regulations, state law, AAHRPP accreditation standards, and USF policies and procedures related to the protection of human subjects in research. This includes extensive written and oral communication between the Quality Improvement Program, Human Research Protection Program/IRB, the Principal Investigator, and research teams to assist with IRB oversight and investigator compliance in human participant research.
This position requires a Bachelor's degree and one year of experience in research or research administration; or a Master's degree. Four years of progressively responsible work experiencing research or research administration may substitute for the Bachelor's degree
The ideal candidate should also possess two years of human participant research experience (e.g. study coordinators, project managers, investigators, study team members, etc.) including direct knowledge of federally-mandated human subjects research regulations. A Master's degree in health administration or similar field relating to health care research and/or human subjects research administration/management a plus. Experience monitoring or auditing human subjects research. Data management software as well as USF Business Enterprise applications (GEMS, OASIS, InfoEd, Click Commerce) experience is desired.
Salary: $42,000-$50,000
