Director, Office of Research Compliance
The George Mason University, Office of the Vice President for Research and Economic Development, invites applications for the position of Director of the Office of Research Compliance.
The Director has primary responsibility for the implementation of all research compliance and integrity issues at the university. The Director oversees the university's Human Subject Research Board, the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee and Export Control. In addition, the Director will support the Vice President of Research by managing the university's Responsible Conduct of Research program. In that role as the Research Integrity Officer, the Director will have primary responsibility for implementing the university's policy and procedures on misconduct. The Director will interface with the Office of Environmental Health and Safety on biosafety and biosecurity issues.
