RESPONSIBILITIES:
The University of Miami, Office of Research, Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI), has an immediate opportunity for an Assistant Director for Research Ethics and the RCR . The Assistant Director, will oversee day to day administration of the Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) Program, the topic leaders and authors. Ensure effective and efficient implementation and tracking of RCR course content upgrades, edits and archiving. Maintain RCR course content integrity on an ongoing basis and develop new, innovative educational materials for the CITI RCR Program. The position will report to the CITI Executive Director at the University of Miami.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Demonstration of scholarly activity in the area of the Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR). PhD level degree preferred. Ten (10) years of applicable experience in teaching the RCR in lieu of terminal degree will be considered. Attend and present at national conferences. Develop research on the RCR highly desirable.
