The University of California, Davis, is seeking a Director of Compliance and Research Integrity located in Sacramento, California. This position will direct and manage the UC Davis Research Compliance and Integrity (RCI) Program including development, implementation, and communication of a research compliance program. Coordinate trainings pursuant to Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) program; lead the Conflict of Interest (COI) Committee; staff the Human Anatomical Specimen and Tissue Oversight Committee (HASTOC); and serve as the Research Integrity Officer for the Scientific Misconduct policy and process. Develop and implement an export control program for the campus and health system; staff the Committee for Research Integrity (CRI); serve on various campus compliance committees; and develop research compliance policies and procedures in response to rapidly evolving state and federal laws and regulations. Responsible for revising and maintaining campus research compliance policies and procedures, and assessing compliance risks and opportunities. This position requires extensive knowledge of state and federal laws, and regulations and guidelines in the area of research misconduct, conflict of interest, export control, control of anatomical specimen, and data management, acquisition and sharing.
