ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR OF RESEARCH COMPLIANCE
SPONSORED PROGRAMS OFFICE
BALL STATE UNIVERSITY
MUNCIE, INDIANA


Professional position available immediately. Responsibilities: provide support with the interpretation and implementation of university policy and procedures in accordance with federal regulations and state statutes related to research compliance; provide consultation, assistance, and dissemination of information regarding the Institutional Review Board; review exempt protocols and provide recommendations to the Director.

Minimum qualifications: bachelor’s degree in a science, social science, or related field of study; at least one year of related professional experience; excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred qualifications: advanced degree; relevant experience in research compliance or in experimental or clinical research or in animal facility management; experience in review of research protocols; CRA, CIP, or other professional certification.
